My Online Income System: The Affiliate Marketing Scam Wars

My Online Income System: A Scam, or Not a Scam .. that is the question [If I can paraphrase a famous soliloquy of William Shakespeare. May he grant me poetic license]

Is My Online Income System a Scam? I will put that question to rest right away. The simple answer is no. It's a nonsense charge. From my perspective, someone who purchased Kimberley Hoffman's program 5 months ago, My Online Income System has been valuable and worthwhile training. Frankly, the pollution that the Scam word has created in this business is making me ill. This is not to suggest that Scams don't exist. Of course there are Scams on the web ..lots of them. And we have to be careful to avoid them.
The automatic affixing of the Scam label to competing products is another matter. It is now a hugely popular, double-edged, marketing tactic. And that is my beef here.
How does it work? Competitors use the Scam word, wherever possible, to fashion your brand into a lightening rod ..zzzzzz ..that draws cold scrutiny and suspicion from untold thousands of consumers. Meanwhile they impose the Scam metric on their own brand, drawing a similar level of attention. Then they convince astonished audiences that their own brand, far from being a Scam, is actually the coolest thing on planet Earth. It's a thoroughly disgusting spectacle. It reminds me of an oil slick, like Exxon Valdez. Or attracting flies to an electric field, where they end up being zapped.
Can we hope the "boys who cry scam" get what's coming to them, sooner or later? Can we hope these slimeball "Scam jockeys" end up trampled in the field? Sure we can. It would be poetic justice for many. But life is rarely so just. Maybe we simply have to live with these irksome types; people without honor, who care only for personal gain, and nothing for truth or fairness.
So the winds of the Scam Wars will continue to blow, disorienting and confusing people. They will steer off course many who try to make decisions about products, including affiliate marketing programs.
For now there is nothing better to tar the enemy with than the dreaded Scam word [..shudder ..], the weapon of choice among combatants.
At any rate I can assure readers that My Online Income System is not a scam. Nor would I presume to assert that any similar program is a scam.
My advice? If you are researching affiliate marketing programs avoid promotional articles, advertorials and websites, that describe competitors as Scams. Avoid sources that use the Scam word deceitfully, inappropriately, to promote their products or to undermine the competition. Do your research elsewhere. Business people who are confident, honest, and sincere about what they offer rarely go in for slime tactics. If enough people are avoiding the gratuitous mud-slinging on the web, we will be a long way toward eradicating the Scam pandemic.
